A gilded or gold leaf house number or house name is the finest way to set off the front of your house. Commonly found in the fanlight or transom, the piece of glass above the door, these are bespoke to the client and house, they are always drawn up by hand and always finished with real gold. A popular option is 23ct gold leaf to a mirror finish, a brass coloured gold with a level of shine that can only be appreciated in passing. Various styles, colours and techniques can be used to achieve the desired look and finish.

Names and numbers don't have to be restricted to the fanlight. Pillar names and numbers are also very popular, whether it be something completely new or restoring an old house name found under layers of paint I am able to advise the best way of completing the job.
